چکیده
The current study presents the integration between field observations and remotely sensed data for detection extraction of geological structural features using Sentinel-2A Aster DEM images. area under investigation is represented by Neoproterozoic East African Orogeny encompassing a part Arabian Nubian Shield. All rock units studied belong to Late Cryogenian-Ediacaran periods that are divided into two large terrains (continental arc terrain oceanic terrain). metagabbro metavolcaniclastic rocks make up terrain, while gabbro, tonalite, granodiorite, dokhan volcanic, monzogranite alkali feldspar granite comprise continental terrain. remote sensing ASTER have meaningful application in respect interpretation. Lineament analysis one most useful tools mapping mineral exploration. Several methods processing extracting lithological information lineaments were applied covering present study. include various image enhancements (FCC, MNF PCA) directional filters (Sobel). results show was subjected stresses directions (WNW – ESE, NW-SE, NE-SW, N-S, NNE SSW, E-W). There occurred some important structure-related mineralization events like migmatization (in granodiorites) bearing gabbro), which associated with major elements evidence-based control proximity Quena Safaga shear zone-related mineralization.

The Meatiq dome (Eastern Desert, Egypt) a Precambrian metamorphic core complex: petrological and geological evidence
The Meatiq basement, which is exposed beneath late Proterozoic nappes of supracrustal rocks in the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt, was affected by three metamorphic events. The ophiolite cover nappes show only the last metamorphic overprint. The M1 metamorphic event (T≥750 °C) is restricted to migmatized amphibolite xenoliths within the Um Ba∞anib orthogneiss in the structurally lowest parts o...

Glaciers influenced by climatic factors and therefore as an important indicator in the study of climate change are studied. Although morphometric analyzes of glaciers based on the analysis of optical satellite data can provide an opportunity to measure ice outcrops, but the identification and determination of the buried glaciers underneath the glacial debris and, consequently, the determination...

Physical characteristics of different features in desert is a reflection of severe thermal and climatic conditions. In this paper, diurnal surface temperature patterns of important surface features in Lut Desert were studied and the relationship among different surfaces analyzed. Diurnal trend in surface temperature of surface types, marl, dark sand, light sand, salt-affected soil, soul at 10 c...
متن کاملGeological setting of the Meatiq metamorphic core complex in the Eastern Desert of Egypt based on amphibolite geochemistry
Abst rac t -Large parts of the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt consist of Neoproterozoic nappes of ophiolite and island-arc volcanic rocks. Beneath these nappes metamorphic basement domes are exposed in tectonic w indows such as the Meatiq basement. The mineral and whole rock chemistry of amphibol i tes included in the teconical ly lowermost granitoid gneiss, within the metasedimentary cover of...
متن کاملExploration of Kahang porphyry copper deposit using advanced integration of geological, remote sensing, geochemical, and magnetics data
The purpose of mineral exploration is to find ore deposits. The main aim of this work is to use the fuzzy inference system to integrate the exploration layers including the geological, remote sensing, geochemical, and magnetic data. The studied area was the porphyry copper deposit of the Kahang area in the preliminary stage of exploration. Overlaying of rock units and tectonic layers were used ...
